Kimberly Falconer, CEO & Founder Kimberly Falconer is the CEO and founder of The Calvin Agency, a public relations, marketing and event firm. Prior to founding The Calvin Agency, Kim was a senior executive with Golin/Harris International, one of the world’s largest public relations firms and part of the Interpublic Group of Companies. Prior to Golin/Harris, Kim worked with The Nixon Group, which was acquired by Golin/Harris for her team’s breakthrough work in the Social Marketing practice area. Kim has extensive special event, media relations and marketing experience, achieving success for corporate, consumer brand, not-for-profit and government clients including The Florida Keys and Key West, Scott Robins Companies, Burger King, and the Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council. Because of her expertise with special events and tour production, Kim produced and managed major concerts, media events and mobile marketing tours, with headliners including Blink 182, Blondie, Eve, The Gypsy Kings, N’Sync, Everlast, Kristine W and MTV Real World/Road Rules personalities to market brands nationwide. During her career, Kim has applied her marketing and media skills to a broad range of industries. Some of those clients include Arby’s, Jose Cuervo’s 1800 brand, Carnival Cruise Corporation, United Healthcare, The Port of Miami, SMG Facilities Management, The Wolfsonian Museum, Miami Millennium Event 2000 and The New World Symphony. Kim’s leadership with eight of The Nixon Group’s tobacco control clients, including American Legacy Foundation’s truth™ campaign and Minnesota’s Target Market™ helped increase billings for the agency by 50 percent in one year. As a team leader in the firm’s social marketing practice, Kim helped the agency make a national name for itself with Florida’s truth campaign, which became a national model for youth anti-tobacco programs after helping to reduce smoking among middle school students by 19 percent and among high school students by 8 percent. Kim also led successful youth tobacco prevention programs, for Department’s of Health in New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Iowa and Minnesota, providing strategic council and execution on brand building initiatives, concert tours, grassroots and youth marketing, special events, and media relations. Kim has been recognized for her contribution to several award-winning programs including the Gold Sabre award for Indiana Tobacco Prevention’s “Guinea Pig” campaign, and a CIPRA award for the 1999 Florida Truth Train Statewide Tour. Kim is an active advisor to various not-for-profit and community organizations and sits on the advisory council of Care Resource, the leading HIV prevention agency in the Southeast. A native Floridian, Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida’s School of Journalism and Communications.
